Vicki Dello Joio, author of The Way of Joy: An Evolutionary Process to Awaken Inspiration, Focus Intention and Manifest Fulfillment, is a workshop facilitator, speaker and theater performer. Vicki is a member of the faculty at John F. Kennedy University’s Holistic Health Education Master’s programs and is also a master trainer of Powerful Non-Defensive Communication™. In 1994, she founded the Way of Joy Center where she offers workshops and classes for the public.
Vicki is a member of the Living Arts Playback Theatre Ensemble which performs publicly, at national conferences, and with the Healing the Wounds of History project, which brings together polarized groups such as African-Americans and European-Americans and Palestinians and Israelis, to transform the pain of shared historical legacies into constructive action.
Integrating her 40 years of practice, Vicki, a master level teacher of Way of Joy Chi Kung,™ has developed a dynamic set of tools to increase awareness, transform obstacles into opportunities and enhance creative potential. She has been a presenter at many conferences and organizations, including the National Qigong Association, Women’s Qigong Association, World Tai Chi Qigong Day, martial arts and yoga schools across the country, as well other professional and community organizations such as Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, Trinity Alliance for the Healing Arts, Department for Public Health of Alameda County, and the Oakland Museum.
As a facilitator, Vicki’s presentations include interactive dialogue, theater games and martial arts as teaching tools for personal growth, professional development and community building.
Her speeches, performances, and workshops have proven highly effective for leadership training, conflict resolution and communication across cultural differences.
